The Islamic Tradition

The great mass of Muslims, remain within their traditional culture. But this culture is fast vanishing from the scene as time goes by and as the modern Western world invade the domains of Islam. The Islamic faith has been explained herein in rather broad terms and these, have preserved its essential contents without too much distortion or loss of objectivity. The traditional doctrines are still intact right down to the present among those who have remained faithful to their heritage, even if the external trappings of the Islamic civilization have for the most part gone by the wayside. These doctrines have stood the test of the time and, again and again, after every decline in the history of Islam, they have been reinstated now more developed, more complex, more detailed to serve as the intellectual spark which awakens the community or the individual into a reaffirmation of the spiritual life.
