- What are the delivery charges?
Delivery charges are the charges levied for delivering your product at your doorstep. The Shipping charges may vary varies with each Seller and your city of delivery. The delivery charge may be waived off by some Sellers, if you shop with them for a minimum predefined value.
- How Does Shipping work at IBB
IBB has tied up with several service providers (courier companies) and they have different coverage areas. Before your order is placed please do check about the city of your choice before placing the order.
- Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?
It is possible that the Seller or our courier partners have a holiday between the day your order was placed and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays and this is also factored in to the delivery dates.
- What is the estimated delivery time?
Sellers generally procure and ship the items within the time specified on the product & Checkout page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays. Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:
- The Seller offering the product
- Product’s availability with the Seller
- The destination to which you want the order shipped to and location of the Seller.
- Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each seller?
You have probably noticed varying estimated delivery times for sellers of the product you are interested in. Delivery times are influenced by product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination and the courier partner’s time-to-deliver in your location. .Please enter your default pin code to know more accurate delivery times on the product page itself.
What is Stock verification button under each product?
Stock verification is a process being introduced as at times due to heavy rush some books go out of stock during the ordering process hence this button has been introduced so that a customer does pay for an out of stock book. Please do use the button to ensure that you pay for items in stock.
Will my Shipping expenses be refunded in case NO shipment happens due to non availability of books?
Yes Full Refund of Shipping expenses will be refunded in case there is no shipment of the order of at all.
Will my Shipping expenses be refund in case PARTIAL shipment happens due to non-availability of some of the books?
In case of PARTIAL l shipment of the order is done then Shipping expenses will NOT be refunded BUT the product cost will be fully refunded. This is being done as shipping expenses are not calculated on a pro rata basis by courier company hence no part shipping expenses can be refunded.
