Islam & Feudalism : The Economics Of Riba, Interest And Profit

It is a mere outline and a preliminary treatment of the complex problem of riba. The Problem has been studied in its historical perspective, set in its original formative phase and in its nebulous hazy contours. In this study we have endeavoured to correlate all the institutions, their related notions, ideas and theories in a conceptual framework which tries to link the pre-capitalist medieval categories of thought to those of the modern capital list era so that a proper understanding of the problem of riba could be gained.
