The book points out the failure of modern science in proper evaluation and canalization of dreams as the modern psychoanalysts have limited the scope of dreams in to three broad based categories. (1) Extension of thoughts during the state of consciousness.

(2) Discomfiture during the sleep or stomach disturbances.

(3) Hallucinations.

Islam vindicates the concept, but adds that true dreams to the righteous persons are inspirations from God. The book is very useful for those who seek the interpretation of their dreams in the light of Quran and tradition of the Holy
Prophet. This book is an effort to highlight the importance of dream in human lives, a fact denied hitherto by modern science.
