₹250.00
A lyrical ballad written from jail by one of
the twelve innocents convicted in the 7/11 Mumbai train blast case of 2006. The 7/11 blasts, that occurred on 11 July 2006, saw seven bombs explode in gents compartments of seven different local trains of Western Railways, Mumbai. The blasts took 200 lives and left around 700 injured. Ehtesham and 12 others were arrested and falsely implicated with the help of fabricated evidence and fake confessions. Only one of the 13 was acquitted after nine years. In this poetic narration, Ehtesham recounts the chain of events leading to his wrongful conviction, how he was detained illegally, how he was falsely implicated in the blasts case, the gory details of torture and the events that unfolded at courts and in prison. The book narrates how agencies implicate innocents to save their skin. It also shows how they do not feel guilt when it comes to implicating innocent Muslims. Ehtesham exposes the ugly realities of the prison, the judiciary and the police and hopes that the injustices done to him are rectified at the earliest.
