Islamic Names

Psychologists now apprehend the wisdom of the effect a person’s names has on his life. But Prophet (S.A.W.) had revealed this fact to his followers already. His teachings to his followers was that children should be given good names, and that meaningless names and those having unsavoury connotations should be avoided subsequently. We find many incidents when Prophet (S.A.W.) changed the names of peoples with this object.
